Ramblings...

It’s amazing how the blogosphere is so much like a real life media frenzy. Having bloggers slamming one another, creating hate sites and throwing “accusations” at one other whom they don’t even know personally.

Where did the human touch go? Where did the face to face confrontations go? Where is the human interaction? Bloodshed? Tears? Okay…sorry, getting overboard. Technology really does amaze me, we can now slam people without their knowledge, without face to face confrontation. Technology’s great isn’t it?

It’s weird because I remember the days when I was younger, in my secondary school days….my group of ger frens will periodically trash every unhappy feelings/thots/emotions at the end of the year. This is usually done after the exams where we have really nothing much to do. The gist of the catfight discussions usually ends with us mostly in tears. But after it all, our bond gets stronger and we live to “battle” another year. Haha….it’s kinda farnie thinking back. I’ve kinda lost that bond with most of them now. It’s almost like we’re strangers now. Not sure if it’s because of the fact that I was in Aussie for almost 4 yrs, or is it because our bond was really not that strong to begin with. I guess with each one of us growing up, people change in different ways I suppose. Perhaps we were distant to begin with, so with the actual distance, everything kinda fell apart. It’s sad, but it’s true…

Well, emotions aside...
First day back to work. Was surprisingly excited (no idea y really), but I suppose with the new year and all, I’m hoping to get a new beginning.

The good news is, I did. My boss came to tell me early this morning that I’m no longer in charge of billing/sales coordinator related responsibilities. She wants me to concentrate on my support and implementation role. Yay!!!!! I’m really really happy to hear that. Makes me feel like I’m inching closer to becoming a real consultant! Woohoo!!!!

Hmm…I promised to post some pictures of my trip…wait till I sort them out first I suppose…heee…
